The program targets individuals who have completed the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) or an equivalent qualification with English, Science, and Mathematics, or a related Technical School Leaving Certificate (TSLC).

9. Entry Criteria
- Completion of SLC or an equivalent qualification with English, Science, and Mathematics, or related TSLC.
- Passing an entrance examination.
- Physical fitness for the program.

The medium of instruction is English and/or Nepali.

A minimum attendance of 90% in each subject is required to sit for the final examination.

19. Provision of Back Paper
Students can retake failed subjects within six years from their date of enrollment.
20. Disciplinary and Ethical Requirements
- Intoxication, insubordination, or academic dishonesty will result in suspension and possible expulsion.
- Illicit drug use or violence will lead to immediate suspension and review, potentially resulting in expulsion.

- Pass entrance examination administered by CTEVT
- SLC or equivalent with compulsory Mathematics, English and Science subjects from a recognized educational institution; or SEE or equivalent with minimum 1.6 CGPA out of 4.0 with compulsory Mathematics, English and Science subjects from a recognized educational institution; or Pre-diploma in Agriculture (Plant Science)/Agriculture (Animal Science)/Food and Dairy or equivalent with minimum 68.33% or as per the provisions mentioned in the admission guidelines of Office of the Controller of Examinations, CTEVT.
