Introduction

Program Description
Spanning six semesters over three years, this program covers foundational science subjects, core food and dairy technology courses, and multidisciplinary topics relevant to the industry. The final year includes hands-on project work and In-plant Training, providing students with real-world experience.
Program Duration
The Diploma in Food and Dairy Technology is a three-year program, divided into six semesters, with each semester consisting of 19.5 academic weeks.
Target Group and Location
This program is open to all interested youths across Nepal, with a maximum batch size of 40 students.
Entry Qualifications
Applicants must have completed SLC or SEE with compulsory Mathematics, English, and Science subjects, or hold a Pre-diploma in a relevant field. Additionally, candidates must pass the entrance examination administered by CTEVT.
Requirements
- Pass entrance examination administered by CTEVT
- SLC or equivalent with compulsory Mathematics, English and Science subjects from a recognized educational institution; or SEE or equivalent with minimum 1.6 CGPA out of 4.0 with compulsory Mathematics, English and Science subjects from a recognized educational institution; or Pre-diploma in Agriculture (Plant Science)/Agriculture (Animal Science)/Food and Dairy or equivalent with minimum 68.33% or as per the provisions mentioned in the admission guidelines of Office of the Controller of Examinations, CTEVT.
